Important Note regarding our Business Model: FeastyBox operates as a technology platform connecting users with independent third-party restaurants ("Merchants") and independent third-party logistics providers ("Delivery Partners"). We do not prepare food nor do we employ delivery personnel directly. Your data is shared with these parties strictly to fulfill your orders.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a seamless delivery experience. This includes:

A. Personal Information

Name, email address, phone number, and delivery address. This is required to create your account and verify your identity via services like Firebase Authentication.

B. Location Data (Important)

We collect your precise or approximate location data to facilitate deliveries, track orders in real-time, and show you nearby restaurants. We may collect this data even when the app is running in the background if you have granted us permission, to ensure accurate delivery tracking.

C. Financial Information

We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay). We only retain transaction logs required for order history.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To facilitate order processing by passing necessary details to Restaurants and Delivery Partners.
To calculate delivery fees and estimated arrival times based on your location.
To provide customer support and resolve order disputes.
To send transactional updates (order confirmation, delivery status).

4. Sharing of Information

We strictly share your data only with parties essential to the fulfillment of your order:

Restaurants

Your order details and name are shared with the restaurant to prepare your meal.

Delivery Partners

Your name, phone number, and delivery location are shared with third-party logistics providers to enable delivery.

Service Providers

We use trusted cloud providers (e.g., Google Firebase, MongoDB) to host our data securely.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect user safety.

5. Account Deletion

In compliance with Google Play Data Safety standards, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can delete your account directly within the app settings or by contacting us at the email provided below. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information, retaining only transactional data required by tax laws.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
